Open from mid-March to mid-May, Keukenhof attracts visitors from all over the globe during the enchanting tulip season. The tulips are cultivated and presented with artistic precision, making the garden a celebration for all ages, and a special experience for children.

Opening Times

From Thursday, 21 March to Sunday, 12 May 2024, you can enjoy the splendour that Keukenhof has to offer daily from 8:00 to 19:30, including Sundays and public holidays.

Across 32 hectares of blooming beauty, spectacular flower shows, inspiring gardens, unique art, and exciting events await you. Each season, a special theme is chosen to enrich the experience even further.

Best Time to Visit

The blooming in Keukenhof follows the natural cycle, making it difficult to predict the best time to visit in advance. Early bloomers such as crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths, and early tulips start the season, while later on the larger tulips follow. Gorgeous flower shows can be admired from the beginning to the end of the season in the pavilions.

Experiencing Keukenhof in Peace

The quietest times in Keukenhof are before 10:30 and after 16:00. These times offer the perfect light for photography. The least busy days are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, allowing you to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the gardens at your leisure.
