Zeeheldenfestival 2025

The Zeeheldenfestival is an annual four-day celebration in the lively Zeeheldenkwartier of The Hague. What started as a small neighbourhood party in 1981 has grown into a vibrant city festival full of music, street theatre, delicious food and fun for kids.
What can you expect at the Zeeheldenfestival?
- Live Music: From local talents to nationally known bands – enjoy a wide range of rock, jazz, folk and world music at the cosy Prins Hendrikplein.
- Children’s Activities: Especially on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, the festival is packed with joy for kids, including:
- Arts and crafts corners
- Face painting
- Puppet shows and street theatre
- Climbing and playing - Art & Theatre: Street theatre, creative workshops and spontaneous performances give the festival an artistic and cheerful atmosphere.
- Stalls & Food: Browse the market stalls or enjoy international dishes such as Surinamese snacks, Italian bites, pancakes and kibbeling.
