Museum Beelden aan Zee
On the promenade of Scheveningen is the 'Beelden aan Zee' (Sculptures by the Sea) Museum located. This museum is built around the 'Paviljoen de Witte', about 200 meters/yards away from the beautiful Kurhaus. The museum features, as the only museum in the Netherlands, only sculptures. The emphasis of this museum lies on international sculpture, particularly after World War II. The bronze monument of the royal family has a permanent place in the 'Beelden aan Zee' Museum. Furthermore, there are often special exhibitions of contemporary sculptors. For an afternoon of sniffing culture in Scheveningen you are at the right place in the 'Beelden aan Zee' Museum.
